Claire’s experience over several years includes a wide range of clients and areas of therapy. She uses a person-centred approach, which includes drawing on many scientifically supported methods, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Positive Psychology, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.  Providing a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their experiences and concerns, she offers a genuine and compassionate approach. 

Claire’s experience and scope of practice is wide reaching and includes trauma, domestic violence support, suicide prevention, carer support, generalised counselling, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship issues, workplace issues, sexuality and gender, health issues, anger management, and life changes. Belonging to the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, she continues to develop skills and knowledge along her journey of practice and welcomes those from diverse backgrounds and areas of concern.`

Claire has facilitated workshops on many areas of mental health, including resilience, stress, working from home, and has provided domestic violence management and awareness training. She has received highly regarded feedback, and her clients often demonstrate marked improvements quite quickly. Claire looks forward to working with you to reach your goals and guiding you through the process of positive change.
