Amy Addinsall is a highly skilled counsellor with over 10 years’ experience. She is also a clinical member of the AASW. Her qualifications and professional expertise are underpinned by her life journey, and natural attributes such as warmth and intuition. She specialises in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults.
Amy works by developing an open and trusting therapeutic relationship with each of her clients. She regards each individual as expert on their own experiences, with the potential for profound self- healing. Amy works collaboratively with her clients to develop active tools to manage day-to-day difficulties. She is passionate about creating enduring change for her clients, and helping them to address their experience of any underlying issues. This facilitates deep healing and transformation. Consequently, Amy’s clients can confidently step into their full potential, including more fulfilling relationships and increased wellbeing.
Amy has undertaken extensive training in a range of modalities, and therapeutic approaches are tailored to suit her clients’ individual needs and circumstances. Techniques that Amy uses include: Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Amy is committed to helping her clients address a range of personal, relationship, and mental health concerns.
