Ben Croot is a highly experienced and engaging psychologist with many years of experience in the field. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Crisis Intervention and Management Australia (CIMA). Ben has worked with a range of clients across the lifespan and enjoys working with individuals, adolescents, and children. 

Ben is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their best possible outcomes. He engages with his clients by bringing his knowledge and synthesizing it with the unique skills and strengths of the client to create the best plan of action to suit the specific needs of the client. He has been described as having a warm and friendly demeanour as well as being approachable and easy to talk to.

Ben utilizes a client-centred approach drawing on psychological theories such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). He also brings his unique personal experiences as well as his training in biotechnology to form an understanding of the ways in which the mind and body interact. Ben views counselling as a partnership where two or more people can come together and combine their unique skillsets to solve specific issues and improve well-being to ensure the best quality future for the client.
