Lachlan Ziervogel has many years of experience as a professional counsellor working with a diverse range of clients and concerns. He works with people across the lifespan, supporting individual adolescents and adults, including parents, family members or carers of people experiencing mental health concerns. Lachlan is skilled in working with clients from various backgrounds and experiences, providing evidence-based interventions to improve their quality of life.
Lachlan's approach focuses on clients as individuals and he works collaboratively to focus on what matters to them. Lachlan's therapy is outcome oriented with the hope that people feel heard and supported in making positive changes in their lives. Lachlan values direct, goal-focused work with clients and he works to build a strong therapeutic connection, meeting people where they are in life without judgement. Lachlan is a committed counsellor who aims to make therapy a beneficial experience and focuses on practical skills outside of the therapeutic environment.
Lachlan employs a tailored approach to supporting clients and their needs. He draws on a suite of modalities to support people in their journey including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, trauma informed care, neuroaffirming care, and family peer work. Lachlan is passionate about supporting people to make manageable changes to their relationships, stress, and all aspects of their lives.
