Trudy Jacobsen is a highly experienced and regarded counsellor with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and couples. Trudy works with clients across a wide range of concerns, and she also provides clinical supervision for other counsellors.
Trudy is warm, grounded, and outcome-focused in her approach. She creates a highly supportive space for clients to explore their concerns and develop greater clarity and self-awareness. Trudy believes that counselling can be a powerful catalyst for change, where insight and emotional understanding pave the way for meaningful personal growth. Her clients often find that through their work together, they are better able to manage life’s challenges, improve relationships, and reconnect with their values and strengths.
Each session with Trudy is tailored to the client’s needs. She draws from evidence-based and integrative counselling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Therapy, and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. Trudy is committed to helping people move forward with greater confidence, connection, and wellbeing.
