Sue Jensen is an experienced and effective counsellor having worked extensively across a range of settings. She is a registered member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and specialises in families and couples wanting to get their relationships back on track, restoring compassion and connection.

Sue is creative, insightful and draws on her communication skills to create a safe space that enables clients of all ages to develop trust and a connection with her. She believes that everyone has their story and we can become stuck in negative cycles, suffer communication breakdowns and have distorted thinking patterns. By developing the skills to self-reflect and gain insight, Sue believes we can actively choose how we live our life, aim for our goals, and build on and enhance our relationships.

Sue will be your agent of change by focusing on thoughts, behaviours and emotions from a highly skilled perspective, which she believes requires an eclectic range of evidence based modalities to meet the varied and individual needs of each client. Working from a person-centred approach, these therapies include, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, with a strengths based and solution focused theme.
