Rupa is a highly regarded and experienced counsellor with extensive experience working in diverse settings. Rupa holds membership with the Australian Counselling Association and has worked with children, adolescents, couples, and adults with various concerns.
Rupa is committed to creating a space where clients feel safe to explore their life situations, challenges, and hardships. Through this exploration she encourages the clients to access their inner strength and helps them devise personalised strategies and solutions to navigate and cope with their circumstances. She is an empathetic and pragmatic professional focussed on considering the person where they are at and facilitating their ability to create a long-lasting change and transformation.
Rupa believes that every individual has an abundance of inner strength and wisdom, but sometimes life’s circumstances can interrupt us from accessing them. She is passionate about encouraging her clients to gain access to their inner resources and become the true author of their lives. She facilitates this engagement by incorporating a range of modalities and counselling techniques and working with the client collaborating to suit their individual needs. The modalities include narrative therapy, trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, systemic family therapy and solution-focused therapy.
