Rachel Waldock is a highly qualified counsellor with many years of experience practicing in the field. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and works with a diverse range of young adults, adults, and couples across a wide berth of presenting issues.

Rachel is passionate about seeing the uniqueness in each of her clients and tailoring her approach to their personality, strengths, and goals. Her counselling style is encouraging, and geared towards bringing new insight and developing key skill sets to support emotional health. With this, clients are able to see the change that they are hoping for both personally and interpersonally. Rachel is committed to working with clients to find practical ways for them to explore options, implement strategies, and live life more authentically.

Just as each person is unique, so too are their personalities and circumstances that they each bring into the counselling session. Rachel therefore uses a combination of therapeutic modalities to suit each session to the client. These modalities include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. Rachel believes that taking time for counselling is one of the best ways to honour yourself; making space to reflect, learn, and be encouraged can be transformational and truly rewarding.
