As a counsellor with over 25 years of experience, Naz Ersan has supported couples, adolescents, families and individuals through all stages of life. Her counselling work is rooted in compassion for the pain all humans carry, a curiosity towards the deeper truths beneath the survival stories we learn to tell, and a respect for each person’s inner wisdom to choose the pace of their own growth.
Therapy with Naz feels like a place where you can exhale, where your experiences are heard, your feelings are honoured, and you discover new aspects of yourself with safety and authenticity. She brings an outcome-focused, effective, and dynamic style to her work, offering counselling that is professional, grounded, and practical. She explores the true motivations behind limiting beliefs, unmet needs, conflict, and addiction. She is also highly attuned to discovering how our past influences our present. This therefore creates a setting where clients can openly experience emotional insight, regulate their nervous system without judgement, and feel less fearful of the discomfort change can bring. Clients often leave sessions feeling clearer, more centred and more connected to themselves.
What further sets Naz’ practice apart is the integration of deep work with practical tools, blending psychological insight with neuroscience-based strategies to support real, lasting change. Naz also utilises a broad range of evidence-based and experiential modalities, including Interpersonal Psychotherapy (Certified), Trauma-Informed Therapy, Imago Couples, Gottman Method, Developmental Couples Counselling, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Narcissistic Abuse Therapy. Naz will gently help you name what has been buried and unspoken and bring light to the parts of your story that you have carried alone. Her main goals are to create pathways toward clarity, peace, and improved relationships within her clients’ lives.
