Michelle Connell is an experienced counsellor who brings a wealth of over 30 years of experience and expertise to her counselling practice. Michelle is passionate about valuing each persons’ uniqueness and circumstances, collaborating with them to develop effective strategies and solutions to address their specific concerns intentionally. Michelle believes counselling is an opportunity to safely explore areas of concern, seek insight into specific challenges and their impacts, and where practical guidance and effective strategies for specific concerns are offered to create real, long-lasting change. Each session involves creating a space for awareness that change is possible, where new ways of being and doing can be found focusing on health and wellbeing.
Michelle engages with clients to effectively address various challenges and needs for therapy. Her skill set includes positive psychology, gestalt therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and experiential and creative therapies.
