Maryanne Zarth is a highly regarded and accomplished counsellor who is passionate about facilitating the growth of her clients. Maryanne holds membership with the Australian Counselling Association and is driven by seeing clients overcome the challenges they face, find happiness, and create better and more peaceful lives.

Maryanne works with her clients to help them find their strengths, and recognise their true qualities, triggers, resources, and supports. With a person-centred approach, Maryanne then empowers and encourages her clients to explore what they want, where they are in their life, and where they want to be. Maryanne helps them identify their goals, develop strategies and solutions and is there to provide support, guidance, reassurance, and positivity.

All clients are unique and so sessions are tailored by Maryanne to each person and their individual needs and desired outcomes. She uses a mix of evidence-based modalities during sessions, including cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness exercises, trauma informed techniques, somatic-based interventions, and expressive therapies. Using these techniques, Maryanne empowers her clients understand and make sense of their situation so that they may free themselves from the weight they may have been carrying around, achieve personal growth and identify a way forward for a much better future.
