Jayashree Bhaskar is a highly skilled counsellor with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, parents, couples, and families presenting with a wide range of concerns. Jayashree believes that no person is beyond support, and that with the right space, understanding and guidance, meaningful change and growth are able to occur.
Jayashree brings a passionate and grounded approach to counselling. She understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when someone has been carrying pain, stress or uncertainty for a long time. Her sessions are trauma-informed, collaborative and outcome-focused, creating a respectful space where clients can feel heard, understood and supported without judgement. She works alongside clients to explore what they are experiencing, understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and build practical strategies that support meaningful change. She also recognises that, for some clients, counselling may be one of the first spaces where they feel truly heard, understood and able to speak openly without judgement.
Each session with Jayashree is tailored to the client’s individual needs, goals and circumstances. She draws from a range of counselling approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Neuro-Affirming Practice, Art Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy. Jayashree believes counselling can be a deeply meaningful experience, where clients are given space to feel truly heard, better understand themselves, reconnect with their own strengths, and begin creating change that is real, lasting and possible.
