Iryna Hermanovych is a qualified counsellor who works with adolescents and adults, supporting them through different life challenges and emotional overwhelm. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and brings a thoughtful, integrative approach to her work, grounded in professional training and a genuine care for each person she meets.
Iryna provides a highly supportive experience where clients can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what they are going through. She works collaboratively, helping clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns, while building a deeper understanding of how their mind and body respond to stress. Through this process, clients develop greater awareness and learn practical ways to navigate life’s challenges. As a result, many begin to feel more in control, experience relief from anxiety and stress, and build a stronger, more confident connection with themselves. Iryna’s approach is flexible and tailored to each individual. She carefully selects techniques based on the client’s unique situation, needs, and goals, ensuring that the process feels relevant, supportive, and effective. She combines practical strategies with deeper reflective work, helping clients not only cope in the moment but also create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.
In her work, Iryna draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and somatic techniques. By integrating these methods in a way that feels simple and accessible, she supports clients to build emotional resilience, regulate their responses, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
