Hamish Rahn is a highly regarded and experienced professional counsellor who is dedicated to improving the wellbeing of his clients. Hamish holds membership with the Australian Counselling Association and works with a diverse range of clientele including children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Hamish sees clients with a wide range of presenting issues and provides a client-centred approach that is built upon trust, honesty and commitment. As every client is different, Hamish believes that all therapeutic approaches must be tailored to the client’s goals, strengths, and needs. Hamish therefore seeks to deliver quality outcomes with compassion, empathy, and expertise in the process of personal development and growth.
Hamish holds a Bachelor of Counselling from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, and his approach is informed by Attachment Theory, Emotion Focused Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapies, Gottman Method, and mindfulness-based practices. Hamish deeply respects the courage it takes courage to acknowledge your difficulties and seek professional help and enjoys meeting people where they are at and helping clients overcome the challenges they face and move forward.
