Claudia Zanapalis is a dedicated and client-focused counsellor and a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, supporting clients across a range of concerns. Claudia brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work, enabling her to connect authentically with clients from diverse backgrounds and life stages.
Claudia is an empathetic, grounded, and compassionate practitioner who is committed to helping individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered. She creates a safe, non-judgemental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. Her approach is collaborative and strengths-based, supporting clients to gain insight, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges. Claudia connects with clients across all stages of life, having extensive experience supporting those navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, grief and loss, trauma, and major life transitions. She aims to support clients in making sense of their experiences, strengthening their identity, and working towards meaningful personal goals.
Claudia uses an integrated, client-centred approach, drawing on a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, trauma-informed approaches, and Emotion Focused Couples Therapy. Each session is tailored to meet the individual needs of her clients, supporting them to develop greater self-awareness, emotional wellbeing, and resilience. Claudia believes that counselling can be a powerful and transformative experience and is committed to helping her clients move forward with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose.
