Bob Nitsos is an experienced counsellor with many years of clinical work across hospital, community, and private practice settings. He works with clients presenting with a wide range of personal, emotional, and life challenges, and brings a calm, professional, and thoughtful approach to counselling.
Bob works collaboratively with clients to better understand what is happening in their lives and identify patterns that may be contributing to distress or feeling stuck. Through open exploration and practical guidance, clients are supported to develop insight, build emotional awareness, and strengthen their ability to respond to life’s challenges more effectively. His counselling style is grounded, respectful, and outcome-focused, providing a safe and supportive environment for meaningful reflection and change.
Each session with Bob is tailored to the individual needs and goals of the client. He uses an integrated, client-centred approach, drawing on a range of contemporary counselling methods including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, and Recovery-Oriented Therapy. Bob believes counselling can lead to meaningful and lasting change, and he is committed to supporting clients to build greater understanding, emotional resilience, and a more balanced and satisfying life.
