Amanda Davies is a highly experienced and accomplished counsellor who works with adults, couples, families, and teenagers to address a vast range of presenting concerns. Her overarching goal is to equip her clients with the tools and strategies to navigate life’s challenges. Amanda holds membership with both the Australian Counselling Association and the Mental Health Academy.
Amanda has a passionate desire to see her clients live their lives enjoyably and happily. Through her person-centred approach, Amanda offers an opportunity for clients to share their thoughts and feelings, where she then respectfully promotes and encourage self-awareness, while challenging what is not serving her clients. Amanda believes that once you have the right tools, strategies, and support, you will be empowered to live your best possible life.
Amanda therefore believes in equipping clients with skills that will empower them to navigate life differently, which will ultimately bring about clarity, renewed confidence, and a fresh outlook and awareness on life and self. Dependent on the client’s therapeutic needs, the evidence-based techniques that Amanda implements include Solution Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
