Wenting is a compassionate and dedicated bilingual (Mandarin) Provisional Psychologist who is a member of the Australian Psychological Society as well as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. She has worked in a range of diverse settings and has wide experience supporting adolescents, adults and the elderly, as well as clients from various cultural backgrounds. Wenting works with a vast array of client, and has a particular interest in assisting clients experiencing health issues and suicidality, as well as those clients who need support surrounding cultural adjustment.
Wenting is committed to empowering her clients to achieve their individual potential, to overcome their challenges and to succeed in reaching their desired life goals. She believes each person is unique and therefore, she takes a client-centered approach to support each person’s individual therapeutic needs. Wenting is committed to creating a safe environment for clients, and takes the time to get to know you as a client so she can better understand you and your goals for therapy.
Wenting tailors each client’s session to meet their individual needs. She draws from a wealth of experience in utilising a variety of counselling styles and modes such as Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness and Behaviour therapy. Wenting is a genuinely warm, respectful and empathic practitioner with high ethical values, valuable clinical skills and wide experience, who will value you for who you are.
