Viviana is personable, approachable, empathetic, and genuine. Her style of counselling is to put clients at ease and provide them with a safe environment for them to explore their life concerns and challenges. Viviana is passionate about empowering her clients to develop effective strategies to address their concerns effectively. She is results-orientated and passionate about enabling clients to gain strategies to better deal with challenges. By exploring an area of concern and seeking insight into the underlying issues and that impact an individual’s life, Viviana will guide clients to make the positive changes and find healthy strategies to manage their health and wellbeing.
Viviana aims to make each session valuable and to meet the clients personal and therapeutic needs. The goals for therapy between Viviana and her clients are established at the onset and she will check in with the client to ensure that at each session, their goals and expectations have been met. She uses several evidenced-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and Dialectic Behaviour Therapy for personality issues and emotional dysregulation.
