Trude J Roos is an empathic and compassionate psychologist with extensive experience. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society and an associate member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association. Trude has a substantial background working in the education and clinical sectors, and specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to adolescents, adults and couples.
Trude’s approach to counselling is warm and supportive, allowing her to easily connect with her clients and build a safe environment where they feel comfortable and are able to talk through their feelings, thoughts, experiences and expectations. She helps her clients by providing useful strategies and tools to move through life’s challenges, as well as to understand and effectively manage their emotions and behaviours, and improve their relationships with others. With Trude’s caring support, her clients are able to make lasting changes that create a life that is meaningful, joyful and fulfilling for them.
Each session with Trude is tailored to meet her clients’ personal therapeutic needs. Her therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, and Schema Therapy. Trude is dedicated to providing her clients with a supportive environment to address their concerns, with an ultimate goal of enhanced health and well-being.
