Tracy is a professional counsellor, having practiced in the local area for many years.  She has membership with the Australian Counselling Association and the Mental Health Academy.  Tracy has worked for not-for-profit in the past and now as a counsellor in her own private practice. She has also educated counselling students for private and government colleges, facilitating domestic violence and child protection workshops around Australia. Tracy has worked in a range of diverse settings with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families presenting with various concerns.

Tracy is passionate and committed to helping her clients develop effective strategies to address their concerns in the long-term. She recognises counselling as an opportunity for awareness, growth and change. By exploring an area of concern in a client’s life and providing insight into underlying issues, Tracy works collaboratively with clients in creating the conditions that make healing and change possible. In this way, each counselling session can develop into a positive and uplifting experience. Tracy is committed to forming professional, helping relationships with her clients connecting with their inner strengths to find new ways to manage life’s challenges individually or in family settings, with a focus on health and happiness.

Each session with Tracy is personalised to meet the clients’ therapeutic needs. Tracy integrates many present-day models of counselling into her practice, including: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and also Psycho-dynamic Therapy to name a few. Tracy uses an integrated, client-centred approach, and is skilled at helping her clients address a variety of issues in a calm, non-judgemental and supportive environment.
