Tracey Petersen-Esposito is a highly skilled counsellor with over 20 years’ experience. She has worked extensively in the government and community sectors, and private practice. She is an accredited, specialist mental health member of the AASW. She specialises in supporting individuals, couples and families experiencing a broad range of personal challenges and concerns.
Tracey is warm, caring and compassionate. She focuses on her clients’ strengths, helping them to develop insight, enhance coping skills and successfully navigate relationship difficulties. Tracey understands that seeking support and taking steps towards positive change may feel overwhelming at times, but her empathic approach to counselling quickly puts clients at ease. Tracey offers practical, outcome-focused counselling that incorporates effective strategies to achieve lasting positive change.
Tracey uses various counselling therapies and approaches, tailored to meet each client’s individual needs and circumstances. Counselling techniques that Tracey uses include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. Tracey works collaboratively with each client to increase wellbeing, strengthen relationships and meet personal goals. She is dedicated to achieving optimal outcomes for her clients.
