Tiffany is an accomplished therapist with over eleven years of counselling experience. Along with her counselling practice, Tiffany has experience in supervising students, providing training and professional assessments/recommendations in the professional field. Tiffany has worked in a range of diverse settings with youth, adults, couples and families and is committed to her professional development.
Tiffany has training and experience in many areas including, couples’ therapy utilising neurobiological principles, substance misuse and mental health, suicide prevention, dual diagnosis, aggression, sexual assault, solution focused therapy, domestic violence, individual and family practices. She has a keen interest in working with couples, families, youth and individuals and is passionate about providing a comfortable, non-judgemental and an empathetic environment.
Tiffany considers herself an advocate for the vulnerable, works with them to understand the impact of their trauma and recreate their narrative. You can be assured her counselling is professional, personalised, practical and most importantly, is evidence-based practice. Tiffany works with a focus on reunification and solidifying the family unit or to minimise negative effects of separation on the family unit. Tiffany has extensive experience working with children in school settings and has a solid knowledge of child development, effective parenting, impaired attachment and working with runaway youth. She has worked in youth assessment teams with a focus on casework and reunification. Tiffany provides (but is not limited to) empowerment, mindfulness, attachment, neurobiological, strengths based, narrative and solution focused informed therapy.
