Her empathic nature and practical, insight-orientated approach supports her clients to navigate their challenges whilst gaining increased understanding to facilitate positive changes. Sue focuses on her client’s strengths and resources in order to foster a sense of personal empowerment and responsibility as an advocacy for change. She believes that counselling is a great opportunity for her clients to experience personal growth through recognition of unhelpful behaviours that prevent the achievement of a rich and fulfilled life.
Sessions with Sue are tailored towards individual needs, and incorporate therapeutic approaches such as Brief Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. Sue is dedicated towards assisting clients to increase their resilience and capacity to cope with stress, and to make lasting changes.
