Sue Gibbons is an experienced and highly regarded counsellor who holds a clinical membership the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Sue has worked with adults of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences in her practice for the past 25 years. In addition to her direct counselling work, Sue is also a clinical supervisor.
Sue’s approach is compassionate and impactful, and she deeply values everyone’s unique experience. Sue aims to meet people where they are in their lives, understanding their needs and working together to enhance the awareness and skills needed to achieve personal goals and aspirations. Sue provides a respectful therapeutic environment, with a focus on a person’s strengths, within which a space is created where new understanding and meaning can emerge.
Sue holds a Graduate Diploma of Social Science in Gestalt therapy and has additional qualifications and training in the areas of Alcohol Use Change, Mental Health and Wellbeing, Trauma Informed care, Culturally Safe Practice, Dialectical Behavioural Skills Training and Mindfulness. Sue brings deep learning and knowledge to support people to add meaning to their experience and purpose to their lives.
