When you meet Stephanie, you’ll find she naturally puts you at ease with a warm and calm disposition. Stephanie is a supportive counsellor and a member of the Australian Counselling Association. She is passionate about supporting adults and couples through a variety of concerns. Stephanie focuses on creating a safe and empathetic unbiased environment in the counselling space, allowing her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. She gently guides her clients on the path, considering their personal values and respects clients’ ability to work within their strengths and find new strengths towards satisfying outcomes.

Stephanie is an attentive listener and genuinely wants her clients to benefit from their counselling experience. Her greatest reward is seeing clients progress in sessions and through homework. Stephanie explores your past and present communication styles through a family relationships, assisting you in recognizing negative repeated patterns and how they affect your relationships and responses in daily life. She believes through identifying patterns and core beliefs, often called schema’s, her clients can find a place to start towards healing and a improving your quality of life.

Stephanie likes to work creatively with her clients. She empowers her clients to reach their personal goals using different techniques and models. She utilizes various tools and evidence-based approaches and works collaboratively with you to form a personalized counselling plan. For example, she uses, Person-Centred, Photo-language cards integrated with models like narratives, Gestalt, Cognitive Behavioural, ACT, Solution-Focused, Gottman techniques, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy.
