Salayeh is a professional and intuitive counsellor. She has many years of experience in both counselling and coaching roles working with clients in a broad range of challenges, so she is confident in her approach with any individual that chooses to see her. Salayeh is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Salayeh cares deeply about the people she works with and understands that each person brings a unique set of concerns. She works from an integrated therapeutic approach in line and in flow with each client. Her priority is to create a safe, trusting, and mutually collaborative environment that allows clients to become aware of their unconscious habitual programming and limiting beliefs. Where they can begin to take radical responsibility for their lives, feel worthy, empowered and inspired to reach their full potential.
Trauma affects our mind and body and should be treated accordingly. Salayeh provides various modalities that best support a client’s healing, recovery and discovery. She uses a client-centred approach, drawing on a number of counselling models and techniques including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution and Strengths based therapy, Creative Art Therapy, EMDR and Gestalt therapy.
