Poppy Krallidis is an accomplished and engaging counsellor with over 10 years’ experience. She is a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and the Australian Counselling Association. In addition to her private practice, Poppy has worked in the community health sector. Poppy specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to adolescents, adults, families and couples.
Poppy is a warm and empathic counsellor and is committed to helping her clients empower themselves by developing effective strategies to address their concerns. Poppy envisages counselling as an opportunity. By exploring an area of concern in life and seeking insight into underlying issues and impacts, Poppy’s clients create the conditions that make change possible. In this way, each counselling session can develop into a positive and uplifting experience. Poppy is committed to helping her clients find new ways to manage life’s changes, with a focus on health and wellbeing.
Each session with Poppy is tailored to meet the clients’ personal therapeutic needs. Poppy incorporates many contemporary models of counselling into her practice, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
