Peter Dyke is an accomplished and dedicated counsellor with over 16 years’ professional experience. He is also a member of the Australian Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and a Supervisor with the Australian Association of Supervision. Peter has worked in a variety of settings providing client-centred services, including private practice. He specialises in providing effective therapeutic counselling for adults, couples and families.
Peter is an outcome-driven counsellor, who is committed to improving his clients’ wellbeing. He is caring and respectful, providing clients with a safe environment where they can speak honestly and freely about their concerns. Peter believes that each client is the expert on their own life – he ensures that his clients are always fully involved in the priorities and direction of their counselling. Peter is compassionate, mature, and dedicated to helping his clients create the change they desire.
Peter provides practical counselling that extends beyond fixing immediate problems and concerns, to helping clients achieve their relationship, career and life goals. He uses a number of counselling approaches to support his clients, including: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, specialist Couples Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy.
