Nick is a skilled and experienced counsellor with many years experience in supporting people through the challenges that life brings. He is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and holds qualifications in counselling, mental health and coaching, amongst others. He has worked in many different settings with young people, adults, couples and families and regularly presents at conferences. Everyone responds to challenges and problems differently, and Nick believes that with the right support from a skilled counsellor, clients can discover practical and achievable ways to move forward.
Nick is committed to working with his clients to build their capability, developing strategies and tools to address their concerns and bring relief. With a particular interest in supporting his clients mental health and wellbeing, Nick is a professional and approachable counsellor that puts his clients needs at the centre of everything he does.
Working with Nick is an empowering experience, focused on helping you to overcome the challenges that life brings, in a practical and supportive process. Each session is tailored to the needs of the client, ensuring that you leave with a sense of achievement and relief. He uses an integrated approach, selecting the most relevant models of counselling for the issues being worked on. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Coaching, Strengths Based work and Solutions-Focussed therapy.
