Nicci is a skilled professional counsellor supporting clients of all ages, inclusive of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She is registered with the Australian Counselling Association and works alongside clients who bring a vast array of concerns and life situations.
Nicci’s supportive and empathetic approach enables ease of communication and offers an environment where clients are able to feel relaxed and safe. She is insightful and solution-focused, providing clients with practical tools, effective strategies and above all, hope that the future need not be the same as the past. Through this, clients are empowered and gain the resources and guidance they need to make positive and sustainable changes in their lives and relationships. Nicci is committed to helping clients learn how to encourage themselves with healthy thinking in every situation and make their own mind their friend.
Nicci believes that each client’s concerns are unique and important, no matter how small they may seem. She is convinced that every client needs more options, which they have either lost sight of or don’t yet know about. Every problem has a solution or answer, therefore Nicci will work with the client to find these. It is her perspective that these are an opportunity to learn, grow and develop new and deeply constructive ways of thinking. In turn, new thinking enables new choices and as a result, opens the possibility of a changed and purpose-filled life and relationships. Nicci incorporates wisdom and common sense through the practical application of evidence-based modalities such as: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy.
Nicci Johnson has appointments available in the following location: Burpengary East
