Mona is an accomplished counsellor with 7 years of experience. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association level 4, the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, Counsellors Victoria Board Member, and supervises other counsellors in clinical practice. Mona has worked in diverse settings with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Mona is committed to helping her clients develop effective strategies to address their concerns. She is dedicated to improving the lives of the community through diverse, dynamic, communicative, and professional interactions. Her passion is working closely with individuals’ spirit, mind, and body to build strong connections and enable them through life’s challenges.
Over the past seven years, she has experienced various counselling roles, including working with children, teenagers, adults and across various cultures. Her empathetic drive and strategic client-based approach are characteristics she believes leave an influential mark on people battling various personal issues.
Mona is committed to helping her clients find new ways to manage life’s challenges, with a focus on health and wellbeing. Each session with Mona is tailored to meet the clients’ personal therapeutic needs. Mona uses an integrated, client-centred approach, drawing on many contemporary counselling models into her practice, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. Mona believes counselling can be a rewarding experience, and she looks forward to helping you achieve greater understanding, peace, connection, health, and happiness.
