Mitchell is a professional counsellor registered with the Australian Counsellors Association. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with a key program in Psychology as well as a Graduate Diploma in Counselling. Mitchell has been practicing for many years working with public services and non-government organisations providing individual therapy, group therapy and community therapy.
Mitchell understands that each situation a client experiences is unique and complex which is why he incorporates multiple therapeutic models to fit the clients needs. As a result, each client has their own tailored sessions to promote healthy changes to address the challenges his clients experience. Modalities that Mitchell uses include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness- Based Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
