Mhairi is a grounded and compassionate therapist who aims to create a highly supportive space for her clients to explore the complexities of life and their psychological wellbeing. Her approach recognises the interconnectedness of mind, body, relationships, and environment in the process of growth and change. She understands that therapy can be challenging, and believes that with the right support, even difficult moments can become opportunities for meaningful and lasting growth. Mhairi uses a thoughtful approach that helps clients feel seen and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
Each session is tailored to the unique needs of each client. Mhairi is confident in the use of a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MiCBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Mhairi believes that counselling can be a deeply rewarding experience, and she is committed to supporting clients in finding greater understanding, connection, and wellbeing.
