Melina Windolf is a highly skilled and regarded counsellor with over 11 years of experience in the counselling field. She is a member of the Australian Counselling Association and, in addition to her counselling work, provides supervision and mentoring to other counsellors. Melina is focused on a client-led intuitive style of therapy, this means that the first session with Melina will give the client an opportunity to be heard, valued, and assessed with the view to developing an ongoing personal approach to therapy that will best suit the needs of the client. This approach provides the opportunity for positive outcomes through strategies and various therapy styles including the most up-do-date approaches that are proving effective within the therapy context.
Melina believes wholeheartedly that each client is unique and therefore each therapy session is tailored to provide the best approach for the needs of the client. Melina achieves this through different personalised therapeutic approaches including Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Neurotherapy. Melina believes that we can only understand and connect with others as we understand and connect with ourselves.
