Melanie is a compassionate and empathic Psychologist who is committed to working with clients, towards their aspirations for change and within their own life context. She is passionate about supporting her clients to heal, grow and thrive. Melanie is a fully registered Psychologist with a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology, a member of the Australian Psychological Society, a registered Dispute Resolution Practitioner and is currently undergoing endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
Melanie has worked extensively with children, adolescents and families and is passionate about working creatively with her clients to fulfil their therapeutic aspirations and goals. She assists clients with relationship and interpersonal challenges, anxiety, behavioural difficulties, stress and coping, depression, ADHD, post-traumatic stress disorder, emotional dysregulation, resilience, self-esteem, bullying and neurodevelopmental delays. Melanie has extensive experience working with children and is also passionate about working with Indigenous populations.
In addition to her Master’s level of clinical psychology training, Melanie draws from a broad suite of evidence-based therapies including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma-based interventions, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Solution-Focused therapy and Attachment-based approaches. She also provides assessment and treatment for children, adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties with learning, mood, behaviours and adjustment.
