Dr Martha Landman is an exceptionally skilled and well-trained psychologist with 40 years’ of comprehensive experience in providing counselling support to clients. She is also an active member of the Australian Psychological Society. From liaising with GPs to running group programs, Martha’s counselling positions have given her a wide range of expertise and a deep understanding of the issues people struggle with on a daily basis. She specialises in counselling clients of all ages, including couples and family groups.

Martha provides her clients with a nonjudgmental and confidential environment, ensuring that they feel comfortable being open and honest about their concerns. She assists clients at their own pace, empowering them to reach the goals that they have set for themselves. Martha helps her clients to recognise the core issues underlying their thoughts, emotions and behaviours. She is especially skilled in providing effective tools and strategies to overcome these challenges in a relatively short space of time. 

Martha is trained in a range of counselling methods including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. In addition, she is trained in a variety of therapies for the resolution of trauma, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, Affect Regulation Therapy, and Clinical Hypnosis. These therapies achieve fast and lasting results. Martha’s commitment is to using best-practice, evidence-based methods that create practical change for her clients.
