Mark is a qualified counsellor and coach. He has spent the past 7 years working with adults, couples and families to overcome various barriers in their lives, including breaking addictions, improving relationships and overcoming personal challenges.
Mark brings a wealth of counselling experience having worked extensively across the corporate, scholastic, and correctional sectors. Utilising lessons learned from this diverse audience now enables him to ensure clients feel safe and validated.
Mark works to create a calm and supporting environment, where clients can open up and feel empowered to make decisions toward lasting change. Having a real understanding that life can be difficult and challenging at times, Mark provides empathy and guidance to help direct you towards your goals.
Mark’s effective counselling practice draws from several proven therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness to identify and peel back the layers of the issues. Mark’s mantra is “life is a daily practice”- he believes we will always have challenges but learning and utilising the right skills can help us get through almost anything.
