Lee is an accomplished psychotherapist and counsellor who is committed to creating a safe and dynamic environment that supports therapeutic change. An emotionally-attuned, warm and insightful practitioner, she works collaboratively with her clients to help them achieve greater self-awareness and move towards their goals.
Lee brings a depth of life experience, compassion and humour to her work. For the past 20 years, Lee has worked in the fields of counselling and mental health across the private, community and corporate sectors currently practicing in Fitzroy North.
As a practitioner of Gestalt Therapy, Lee believes change comes through recognition and understanding of our own life experience and the environment around us. Her approach is based on the latest advances in working with trauma, therapeutic change and neuroplasticity, and in particular how compassion and gratitude can be used to rewire the brain. She works with individuals and couples to achieve a range of desired outcomes, including in the areas of personal growth, parenting, relationships, and trauma. Lee works with couples who want to resolve relationship challenges to create emotionally secure and loving connections. Connecting with our vulnerability can teach us what is important to us, and leads us down the path to increased intimacy and growth.
