Lê Hoang is a highly intuitive and insightful counsellor, with over 15 years’ experience. She is a clinical member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Prior to commencing her private practice, Lê worked in the public and community health sectors. Lê provides effective therapeutic support to children, adults, couples and families.
Lê views counselling as a collaborative process. She helps clients to identify their goals and the steps required to achieve success. She assists her clients to learn new skills and adopt new perspectives to address their issues. Lê recognises that her clients come to counselling from diverse life experiences and acknowledges their uniqueness. In her approach to counselling, and particularly in the first session, Lê likes her clients to feel at ease, listened to and understood. She aims to cultivate a comfortable environment in which her clients can voice their concerns and have a counsellor who is confident to work through their issues with them. Lê guides her clients towards developing their skills to better manage life’s challenges, with a focus on psychological wellbeing.
Lê uses an integrated, client-centred approach and is skilled at helping her clients address a variety of issues. She incorporates many counselling models into her practice including Attachment Theory, Gottman Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness techniques.
