Kellie Hamill-Downey is a qualified counsellor registered with the Australian Counselling Association. She has many years’ experience counselling families, individuals, couples, children and young people in the North Western area of Sydney. Kellie divides her time between supporting families within the Not for Profit Sector, working with children and adolescents as a school counsellor, and working in private practice.
Kellie believes that the relationship between the therapist and the client is the foundation for therapeutic change. Therefore Kellie’s aim and focus is to establish a strong working alliance with you early in treatment, so that the best outcomes for you can be achieved. With this established alliance, collaborative exploration of your concerns and challenges can occur in a safe and open space, with the goal of positive growth and greater health and wellbeing.

Kellie is also a confident and skilled Clinical and Practice Supervisor. She is passionate about supporting counsellors, staff and leaders through the challenges that can arise within their work. Kellie is registered for health fund rebates with Police and Doctors health fund, BUPA and Medibank.
