Katharine (Kate) Northall is an experienced counsellor with 16 years of experience in the field. She is a Clinical Member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Alongside this, she supervises counsellors and psychotherapists both in Australia and internationally.

Kate is highly experienced in working with anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, grief, and many other areas, and works towards unlocking the issue and addressing what is really going on for her clients. Each session will help her clients explore their issues in a supportive and understanding environment. Kate accompanies clients on their journey and stands next to them in uncovering their pain, so that you feel assured and supported through the whole process. From there, Kate is focussed to continue through the process together, guiding you through gaining awareness, a deeper understanding of your experience, and new skills that will arm you with the ability to continue to build relationships, strengthen the connection with self, and help build on the life you seek.

Kate will access different approaches to meet each person’s needs. That could include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, person-centred, or transactional analysis. Integration is not just the theoretical approach – it is about the client’s integration of themselves. Kate’s sessions allow the client to identify, challenge, and focus on improvement in a positive setting.
