Judith Szucs is a highly experienced counsellor with more than 30 years of professional practice supporting individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. She is a clinical member of the Australian Counselling Association and has also worked extensively in counselling, training, and supervision within the counselling field. Her extensive experience across the counselling sector allows her to provide practical guidance, insight, and support that is grounded in both professional knowledge and lived understanding.
Judith brings a warm and engaging approach to counselling. She understands that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, particularly when someone has been carrying stress, emotional pain, trauma, or uncertainty for a long time. Accordingly, she focuses on creating a non-judgemental and supportive environment where clients feel genuinely heard, valued, and understood. Judith believes that counselling should not only provide emotional support, but also practical insight and meaningful direction. By helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, nervous system responses, and behaviours, she supports them to move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed toward greater clarity, calm, confidence, and empowerment. Judith is deeply committed to helping clients create positive and lasting change in their wellbeing, relationships, and everyday lives.
Each session with Judith is tailored to the individual needs, goals, and circumstances of the client. She draws from a range of contemporary counselling approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Person-Centred Therapy. Judith’s counselling space reflects her grounded and welcoming approach, offering clients a calm therapeutic environment surrounded by nature. She believes counselling can be a powerful opportunity for growth, self-understanding, and renewed hope, and she is passionate about helping clients build a stronger and more connected relationship with themselves and others.
