Josephine Willis is a highly skilled and empathic counsellor with over 10 years’ professional experience. She is also a member of the AASW. Jo is a solution-focused counsellor with experience working across a wide range of issues with a diverse clientele. She specialises in providing high quality counselling to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Jo provides a warm and supportive environment for her clients to discuss their concerns, and work towards achieving their personal therapeutic goals. She is deeply committed to creating a trusting, collaborative relationship with her clients. Jo supports her clients to work effectively with their emotions and experiences, by providing practical strategies and stress management techniques that aid recovery, personal growth and enhance relationships with others.
Jo’s focus in each session is client-centred and results-oriented. She uses a range of therapeutic techniques including: Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Sessions are tailored to meet the needs and circumstances of each individual client. Jo is dedicated to helping her clients achieve positive outcomes and move forward with confidence into a more fulfilling and happier future.
