John Manteit is a skilled counsellor with more than 20 years’ counselling experience. John is also a member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia and the Queensland Counsellors Association. John specialises in providing therapeutic support to couples and individuals of all ages.
John is a compassionate and insightful counsellor, who loves to provide a safe, caring, non-judgemental environment for clients to explore and discuss their concerns. John believes each person’s journey is unique to them, and he endeavours to help them achieve their personal goals and relationship goals, to become the best person or couple they can be, overcoming any obstacles that are currently in their way. John loves to help people or couples who would like to grow themselves or their relationship to be more healthier, trusting, kind, vulnerable and emotionally available.
John uses an integrated person-centred counselling approach in his practice, tailoring various counselling strategies to help the client find meaning and purpose in their lives. John incorporates various counselling modalities, such as Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behaviour therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy.
