Jodie Crouch is a highly regarded counsellor with many years of experience in the field. She holds membership with the Australian Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. As well as working in private practice, Jodie has worked in a range of diverse settings at senior levels in government and the private not-for-profit sector with young people, adults, couples, and families.

Jodie uses an integrated model of counselling in her practice, incorporating strengths-based, person-centred, trauma-informed care and harm-minimisation principles. Contemporary models of counselling which inform Jodie’s practice include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Motivational Interviewing, and Polyvagal theory. Jodie’s approach is structured to empower individuals while emphasising the importance of safety and respect in the therapeutic setting.
