Joanne Quatre-Bornes is a highly skilled and respectful counsellor with many years of professional experience. She is an active member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Joanne has worked extensively in private practice with a range of clients from diverse backgrounds. She specialises in providing effective therapeutic support to children, adolescents, adults, seniors and couples.
Joanne empowers each of her clients to gain insight into their strengths and abilities which increases their capacity to make positive changes and achieve their desired goals. She is dedicated to working in partnership with her clients, ensuring that sessions are focused on the client’s best interests. Joanne’s skills and experience have supported individuals across all walks of life to overcome their personal challenges and achieve growth, wellbeing and lasting change.
Joanne draws on multiple evidence-based counselling methods in her practice, selecting the best approach to suit her client’s needs and circumstances. Therapeutic techniques that Joanne uses include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. Joanne is deeply committed to supporting her clients to resolve their concerns, enhance their relationships, and move forward confidently with their lives.
