Jill Hice is a warm and professional counsellor with over 20 years’ professional experience supporting clients across a broad range of issues. She holds membership with the Australian Counselling Association, and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia. Jill has worked in many sectors including private, non-profit, rehabilitation, crisis care and emergency services in the USA, Japan, and Australia. She specialises in working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Jill is passionate and committed to counselling that empowers her clients to make improvements in their lives. She supports and assists her clients to develop effective strategies that make positive and lasting change achievable. Jill envisages counselling as an opportunity to address concerns and their underlying issues. She is committed to helping her clients find new ways to manage life’s challenges, with a focus on health and wellbeing.
Jill brings a client-focused and person-centred approach to her counselling practice, tailoring sessions to around each client’s unique needs to provide maximum benefit. She draws from a range of therapeutic methods including Individual Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
