Jerty has worked extensively in the non-profit, disability, public and private sectors. She provides effective therapeutic support to adults and couples.

She is committed to creating a strong therapeutic alliance with each of her clients, and provides an environment that is conducive to growth and positive change. This ensures Jerty’s clients feel comfortable, understood, and free to discuss their concerns without fear. Jerty believes there are no failures in life, only feedback: she is dedicated to helping her clients to identify any barriers preventing them from living a meaningful and fulfilling life. Jerty is passionate about helping her clients to unleash their own potential and inner strengths. Jerty draws upon a number of therapeutic approaches and techniques to assist her clients in achieving positive outcomes. Counselling methods that Jerty uses include: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mediation, Behaviour Management Training, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. Jerty also has substantial experience supporting clients recovering from trauma, including critical incident stress management counselling for individuals and groups.
