Jennifer is a genuine, caring psychologist who has extensive experience working in a range of settings. Throughout her years of experience she has worked with children, adolescents and adults with a number of different personal issues and mental diagnoses. Jennifer is committed to empowering clients from minority groups and diverse backgrounds and respects each client’s different values and beliefs.
Jennifer is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and is a member of the Australian Psychology Society. She regularly attends professional development training to improve and extend her knowledge as well as to provide her clients with the most up-to-date, optimal evidence-based skills and strategies.
Jennifer has a natural empathic and non-judgmental manner. Jennifer uses a range of effective and appropriate therapies best suited for the individual or couple, taking into consideration personal and developmental factors to improve treatment outcomes. She cares deeply about helping people live their best life by empowering clients with skills and strategies.
Jennifer is a young but dynamic therapist who incorporates various contemporary evidence-based models of counselling into her practice including: Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-focused Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Play Therapy and well as Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed therapies, psychoeducation and mindfulness.”
